Mendoza (in English)

The flag arrived to Mendoza, here are the photos and experience. Thanks to Paula for receiving it!

One day of fall, a bit cold but sunny, I had a special feeling: it was early in the morning at the beginning of the week, when something inside me said "go outside" and after did it I saw I had received a package, "what would it be?" I asked myself. Intrigued, when opened the package, I saw it was the best gift of all: a white flag, with a perfectly hand painted detail of the shield which represents what I love: The Echelon Argentina.
Immediately, filled with excitement and joy, I notified everybody that the flag had came to the city of Mendoza and began organizing everything for this project.
Once gathered with the Echelon Mendoza family, thousand of ideas emerged as places, landscapes, etc., but we finally preferred to choose the most representative places in the Capital.
The first choice was the mighty shield of the city of Mendoza, located in the city's central square, Plaza Independencia, besides we also took photos at the main fountain which is the facade of the region's modern art museum builded underground under it.

The second choice was the gates of General San Martin Park, there we found everything we needed: nature, mountains in the background, and the Mendoza family firm, faithful and cooperative at the time to pose with the flag.

It was love at first sight for everyone, really touched the hearts of all Mendocinos, we could feel how something so simple was able to bring us so close and also help us to meet eachother a little more.
It's hard to let it go, but it also is sublime to know that each one of the points of its journey its presence willreceive and give love, hope, happiness and pride of being an ECHELON! It's Mendoza's desire that each one of the hosts be so happy , have fun and feel this nirvana

with it, as we did ourselves.

Mendoza

La bandera llego a Mendoza, aquí están las fotos y la experiencia. Gracias a Paula por recibirla!


Un día de otoño, fresco pero soleado, tuve un presentimiento especial, era temprano en la mañana durante comienzos de la semana, cuando algo dentro mío dijo "salí a la calle" y vi que había recibido un paquete, ¿Que será me pregunté? extrañada, al abrirlo vi que era el mejor REGALO de todos, una bandera blanca, al perfecto detalle pintada a mano del escudo que representa lo que tanto amo, El Echelon Argentina.
Inmediatamente llena de emoción y alegría notifique a todos que la bandera había arribado a la ciudad de Mendoza y comenzó la organización para realizar este proyecto. Ya reunidos con la familia Echelon Mendocina, miles de ideas surgieron, lugares, paisajes, etc. pero preferimos los más representativos de este lugar dentro de la Capital.
El primer lugar elegido fue el imponente escudo de la Ciudad de Mendoza que se encuentra en la plaza central de la urbe, la plaza Independencia, de paso aprovechamos y sacamos fotos también en la fuente principal la cual es cobertura del museo de arte moderno de la región. El segundo lugar escogido fueron los portones del parque General San Martín, el cual poseía todo lo que necesitábamos, naturaleza, montañas de fondo, y la familia mendocina firme, fiel, colaboradora para posar con la bandera.

Fue amor a primera vista para todos, realmente nos toco el corazón a todos los Mendocinos, sentimos como algo tan simple pudo unirnos tanto y ayudarnos a conocernos también un poco mas.
Es difícil dejarla ir, pero también es sublime saber que en cada uno de sus puntos de presencia recibirá y será entregadora de amor, esperanza, felicidad y orgullo de ser ECHELON! Es el deseo de Mendoza que cada uno que la acoja sea tan feliz con ella, se divierta y sienta este nirvana como lo pudimos hacer nosotros. Gracias por la experiencia y este proyecto

San Juan (in English)

We move on with this trip and today we arrive in San Juan, here are the pictures that Laura send us with her friends when they receive the flag and their story of that moment!


On March 22 of 2011 the flag arrived to my home, I was talking to the girls here to meet to take the pictures, in the middle I had several personal problems that delayed everything, but finally we met.


After almost a month and a half on Saturday May 7. Melu, Moira, Celina and I were going to meet in the main square of San Juan: 25 de Mayo Square. Is where we get some of the pics, from there we went to the Civic Center, the Provincial Legislature, the birthplace of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and as I said before, in the park, that's is where we get the most of the photos. Then we went to the center of San Juan to take photos at the bell tower next to the Cathedral, that's why you can see the long walk we had around, all was by foot. Our intention was to take pictures in other parts of San Juan but we couldn't because we need money to travel because of the long distances. Maybe the next time we can save some money to show all of you another beautiful places from the place I live.

San Juan

Seguimos con el viaje y hoy llegamos a San Juan, aquí las fotos que nos mando Laura junto a sus amigas al recibir la bandera y su relato de ese momento!


El día 22 de marzo del 2011 llego a mi casa la bandera, estuve hablando con las chicas de aquí para juntarnos para sacar las fotos, en el medio tuve varios problemas personales q retrasaron todo, pero finalmente nos pudimos juntar para hacerlo.

Después de casi un mes y medio el día sábado 07 de mayo quedamos de juntarnos con Melu, Moira, Celina y yo en la plaza principal de San Juan 25 de Mayo que es en donde sacamos alguna de las fotos, de ahí nos fuimos para el lado del parque en donde pasamos por el Centro Cívico, la Legislatura Provincial, la casa natal de Domingo Faustino Sarmiento y como dije antes en el parque que es donde sacamos varias fotos, después volvimos a lo que es el centro de San Juan para sacar fotos en el campanil q esta junto a la Catedral, por lo cual se ve q caminamos bastante ya q todo fue a pie, nuestra intención era sacar fotos en otros lugares de la provincia pero no nos ayudo lo económico ya q para hacerlo hay q trasladarse a lugares mas alejados y para ello había q tener plata si o si.

Rawson (in English)

Hello, I'm thankful for the confidence that the Echelon Argentina put on me by sending me the flag, i felt they show me respect and I see that all my work and promotion on the Internet and other not virtual places has given their fruits, thank to all.


The following pictures has been taken at the Toninas monument at Union Beach, and at the entrance through route 7 to Rawson, where there are seals sculptures that represents the seals who live at the port there.
I also informe you all that I'm working in a radio and occasionally i put some mars songs si i'm doing the best promotion in the world by doing this. A hug to all of you and i invite you to enjoy the beautiful Patagonia.


PD: The flag doesn't look well because the wind shook it constantly, haha about the photos, sorry for send them late, but it was a little hard to take them by my own.

Rawson

La bandera del sur sigue su rumbo después de algunos problemas. Hoy compartimos con ustedes las fotos y mensaje que nos mando Lucas cuando recibió la bandera en Rawson (Chubut)! Que lo disfruten!

Hola les agradezco la confianza al ECHELON ARGENTINA por enviarme la bandera, me sentí muy respetado y veo que todo mi trabajo de promoción en internet y fuera de ella a dado sus frutos. Muchas gracias a tod@s.

Las siguientes fotos fueron sacadas en el monumento a las Toninas en Playa Unión y en la entrada por ruta 7 a Rawson donde hay unos los lobitos q representan a los lobos marinos q viven en el puerto Rawson alimentandose de los pescados q le dan la flota amarilla de los pescadores, también les cuento que estoy en trabajando en una radio y debes en cuando paso temas de 30 así que estoy haciendo la mejor promoción del mundo pasar los temas de nuestra querida banda. les mando un abrazo a todos y los invito a disfrutar de la hermosa Patagonia.

PD: la bandera se me pegaba por el viento q había ese día jaja. perdón por tardar tanto en mandarlas me costo un poco sacarlas solo.

Santa Fe (in English)

The North Traveling Flag continues its travel, today we share the photographs and message that Vane sent us after receving the flag at Santa Fe. Enjoy it!


The flag arrived to Santa Fe on December 22nd, if wouldn't have been for my sister I wouldn't had have it that day! XD then I told the new to the people here and we agreed that, due to Christmas and New Year's Hollidays, we left the meeting and photo shooting day for January.

Finally we decided to meet at the river side street at 6pm for starting the photo shoot at the Hanging Bridge, the lighthouse, at Estanislao Lopez monument and some other places we found nice as scenaries.

From there, we took a bus and went to Santa Fe's dock in where there's a kind of sign with the legend: Port fo Santa Fe on it because a route sign was a little bit far away from where we were. At the end we led downtown where we took the pictures at the Municipal Theatre.

For being honest, it was a beautiful experience which we hope can be repeated in the future, we spent a nice afternoon!
Thanks to Barbi, both Lucres, and the twins Any and Ana for had been there, and to who couldn't make it this time: we hope to meet you all in the next Echelon Argentina Mission :)
